KNOT & CHISEL

Knot & Chisel is a small business based in the Northwest. They make beautiful cutting boards, game boards and other wood products. The logo design process for this was about meeting in the middle and helping two business partners collaborate on a shared vision. It was important to the client to include some visual elements such as the rope and wood grain and to stick to a simple palette of red and black. We created four total variations for their use. The full logo mark is used on their website. The simple K&C stamp is used as their browser icon and on their brand burned into the wood of their products. We also created two simple word mark versions for them to use in various places on packaging, packing slips and labels.
